What actually happens

Someone finds your pet and scans the QR code on their tag with their phone camera — no app needed on their end.

They land on a simple page with your pet's name, your contact number, and any note you've added — enough for them to reach you right away.

You get a text message the moment that happens, so you know your pet has been found before you've even had a chance to worry.

If the finder chooses to share their current location, your text includes a Google Maps link to exactly where they are.

What this isn't

This isn't GPS tracking. Your pet's tag doesn't contain any electronics, battery, or chip — it's a sealed, waterproof piece of metal with a printed QR code. We don't know where your pet is at any given moment. What we do know is the moment someone scans the tag, and where that person is standing, if they choose to tell us.

Location sharing is always optional for the finder

Nobody is tracked without their knowledge. The person who finds your pet sees a clear, simple choice — share their location to help you faster, or skip it and let you follow up by phone instead. Either way, you're notified.

Note: To avoid spamming you, we only send one notification per tag per hour — so if the same tag's page is viewed a few times in a row, you won't get flooded with texts.
